The Florida Black Bears are launching a Community Initiative we’re calling the Black Bears Care Force.
The primary focus of this initiative is to provide emergency and disaster relief and recovery services, as well as critical services for those in need. We are kicking this initiative off with a very aggressive program of ongoing care services and emergency & disaster response and relief for the 20 Nations (15 Full Members and 5 Associate Members) that make up the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
We are working with a new Cargo & Ferry Service whose first major ship is on its way now to the Islands on its launch from Tacoma, WA. So the Florida Black Bears are truly out in front with this program.
CARICOM is made up of the Nations of…
Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago.
And Associate Members…
Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Turks & Caicos Islands.
We will be providing everything from food, clothing and medicine to various consumer and productivity goods and services on an ongoing basis. In addition, we will be providing emergency and disaster services of emergency evacuation and relocation, emergency food, water and other supplies. And various recovery services and goods as needed.
Our Partners with the Cargo & Ferry Service will provide clearance into all 20 CARICOM Member Countries, any permitting, approvals, etc. in all Countries, local coordination services and cargo and ferry services.
It’s a major undertaking and one of great importance. Now the hard and long work begins.
